Chinese EV emerging forces’ performance in 2020 is better than most people’s expectations. Their share of the EV market has increased to around 15% compared with 6% a year ago. With the completion of Li Auto’s listing and Xpeng’s near USD 1 billion round C financing, emerging forces are expected to enter the fast-developing period and win more shares from traditional manufacturers in the Chinese EV market.
